Beer is roughly 90% water yet some brewers use their local water source unconditionally without knowing its composition. If we can provide an up to date reference for Bay Area local water sources to help brewers identify their water profiles before brewing, not only are we allowing the brewer to clearly define how their water affects their beer, but can also help the brewer to clearly define how to treat their water in order to create that ever elusive "perfect brew". Thanks to Ward Lab (http://www.wardlab.com) and our members, the Silicon Valley Sudzers now have the exact composition to their own water supplies.
